TRIAL PROGRAM INFO & INSTRUCTIONS
Dear student, Please note:
1) YOUR SESSIONS will be on the same day(s) of the week that you started with, in week 1, when you started
2) COMMUNICATION: Members are expected to read all messages from us. Our messages are short and to the point, and usually include important information about the classes
3) CLOSURES: We are closed on all statutory holidays, and 1 week at the end of every term (every 3 months). If any of your sessions land on a holiday, you may attend any other class to make up
4) THE GUIDES TO READ: You (or your child) should read the "Dojo Etiquette" and our "Program Guide", soon after joining. And Parents, please read our "Parents' Guide". All guides are posted on our website, under "Members Area": www.the-powerhouse.ca
5) STAY IN THE BUILDING: If your child is in the L1 group (4-7 yrs), you are expected to stay in the building, so we can easily find you if necessary
6) CHECK-IN CODE: Please make a note of your check-in code after you complete your profile. You should always sign in when you attend class to get credited for the session you attend (see iPad at the front). Your check-in code is displayed on your profile's first page. Parents, if your child is very young, please sign your child in yourself

8) REFERRAL PROGRAM: You will earn referral credit at $100+ when a friend that you refer to us signs up for regular training. To refer a friend, please inform your friend, and if they are interested, send us your friend's contact information, and we will send them an invite to come in for a trial.
9) OUR EMAILS: Please add the emails (above) to your address book now, to make sure our emails don't land in your spam folder
10) REGULAR COURSE SIGN UP: There are some advantages to signing up before your trial runs out. If you are ready to sign up for regular training, please let us know

WAIVER OF LIABILITIES
By signing up for classes offered by The Powerhouse, you (or the parents of young kids) confirm that you agree with this waiver and, are willing to 'train at your own risk' as there is always an inherent risk of injuries generally, with exercises and martial arts training, which includes running, kicking, punching, and striking, by accident. You are advised to check with your doctor to make sure you are fit to participate in such training. Students are required to have their vaccination for COVID-19 up-to-date, and not to attend class if they have any symptoms of COVID-19. Clearance from a doctor will be needed if you happen to be sick with Coronavirus.
By signing up for training, Student (or parents of the student) agrees to WAIVE ANY CLAIMS that he or she may have in the future against The Powerhouse Martial Arts and Fitness LTD and Saint Mary's Parish, as well as its owners and employees, for any injuries or damages or loss that may arise from the student's use of classes and the facilities where The Powerhouse operates. Student hereby WAIVES ANY CLAIMS FOR DUTY OF CARE under the Occupier's Liability Act, RSBC 1979. c.303 on the part of the Releasees. Student hereby agrees to RELEASE The Powerhouse Martial Arts and Fitness LTD and its owners, agents, or employees from any claims, or liability, for any injuries or losses, including but not limited to heart attack, broken bones, sprains, Covid-19 infection, or any other injuries or losses, however caused during training at The Powerhouse.
PS. Rest assured, however, The Powerhouse is generally a safe environment as all activities are supervised, and exercises are fully controlled.
